Clause 55

by inserting, immediately after the definition of “Minister”, the following definitions:“ “mobility scooter” and “motorised wheelchair” have the same meanings as in the Active Mobility Act 2017 (Act 3 of 2017);”; and

by inserting, immediately after the definition of “motor vehicle”, the following definition:“ “outsourced enforcement officer”, in relation to any provision of this Act or subsidiary legislation made under this Act, means an individual who —

is appointed under section 11 of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore Act;

is authorised by or under that Act to exercise any powers under any provision of this Act or subsidiary legislation made under this Act, as the case may be; and

is acting within that authorisation;”.
