Amendment of section 112
Section 112 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the words “law corporation” in subsections (2), (3) and (4), the words “or limited liability law partnership”; and
(b)
by deleting subsection (5) and substituting the following subsection:“(5) A provision in any such agreement that the solicitor or law corporation or limited liability law partnership —
(a)
shall not be liable for negligence; or (b)shall be relieved from any responsibility to which the solicitor or the law corporation or the limited liability law partnership would otherwise be subject as a solicitor or a law corporation or a limited liability law partnership,shall be wholly void.”.
