Clause 16
Section 64 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsections:“(1) Meetings of the Council may be held —
(a)
at such times and in such manner as the Council may determine; and
(b)
as often as may be necessary.
(1A)
A member of the Council may participate in a meeting of the Council through such means of communication (such as over the telephone or through a live audio, live video or live television link) as the Council may determine.
(1B)
A member of the Council who participates in a meeting of the Council in accordance with subsection (1A) shall be deemed to be present at the meeting.”; and
(b)
by deleting the word “personally” in subsection (2).
