SIXTH SCHEDULERegulation 44ACarrying capacityThe carrying capacity of a pleasure craft means the maximum number of passengers and crew that the pleasure craft may carry in sheltered waters, as specified in a builder’s certificate recognised by the Port Master, or, if none, as determined by the Port Master in accordance with the following formula:Carrying capacity = 12 + (Length x Length x Breadth x 0.0031)In the case of a personal watercraft, the carrying capacity shall be 2, unless otherwise approved by the Port Master.[S 727/2010 wef 01/12/2010][G.N.
