Short title and commencement
This Ordinance may be cited as the Medical Registration (Amendment) Ordinance, 1964, and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may by notification in the Gazette appoint.

Clause 2
Amendment of section 4
Subsection (1) of section 4 of the Medical Registration Ordinance is hereby amended —
(a)
by deleting paragraph (e) thereof and substituting therefor the following: —“(e)two registered medical practitioners to be appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Negara on the nomination of the Council of the University of Singapore;
(f)
two registered medical practitioners to be appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Negara on the nomination of the Council of the University of Malaya; and”; and
(b)
by re-lettering paragraph (f) thereof as paragraph (g).
