Clause 7

Section 410 of the principal Act is amended by renumbering the section as subsection (1), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsection: —“(2) The Minister may cancel the certificate of registry of a Singapore ship if he is satisfied that it is not in the public interest for the ship to continue to be registered as a Singapore ship.”.
