Clause 198

Unauthorised presence on board ship

Where a ship registered in Singapore or elsewhere is in Singapore and a person who is not authorised by law to do so —

(a)

goes on board the ship without the consent of the master or any other person authorised to give it; or

(b)

remains on board the ship after being requested to leave by the Director, the Port Master, the master or a police officer,he shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000.
