Clause 5

Section 23(2) of the principal Act is amended by deleting the full‑stop at the end of paragraph (d) and substituting a semi‑colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(e)where the seafarer is released from captivity after being held captive on or off a ship as a result of an act of piracy or armed robbery against the ship.”.
