Regulation 22

Despite anything in these Regulations requiring the fitting, carrying or provision on a Singapore pleasure craft of any material or equipment, the Director may allow another material or equipment (called in this regulation the alternative material or equipment) to be fitted, carried or provided on the pleasure craft if the Director is satisfied that the alternative material or equipment is at least as effective as that required by these Regulations.
