Regulation 6

Application for the determination of the tonnage of a ship shall be made to the Certifying Authority by or on behalf of the owner of the ship.

The owner of the ship or his representative shall make the ship available for measurement by the Certifying Authority and afford all necessary facilities for its inspection and measurement and shall furnish to the Certifying Authority with such plans, drawings, calculations, specifications and other documents relating to the ship as the Certifying Authority may require.
