Regulation 2

A transport leg brace is specified for the purposes of section 22A(1) of the Act, except a transport leg brace under the charge and control of the Ministry of Social and Family Development for the sole purpose of use as a restraining device on any resident of the Singapore Boys’ Home or the Singapore Girls’ Home of 12 years of age or older and who is likely to escape if unrestrained, during the escort of such a resident.
