This Act may be cited as the National Registration (Amendment) Act, 1974.

Clause 2

Amendment of section 19

Subsection (3) of section 19 of the National Registration Act is hereby amended —

(i)

by deleting the full-stop appearing at the end thereof and substituting therefor a semi-colon; and

(ii)

by inserting immediately thereafter the following new paragraph: —“(c)provide for the composition of offences which are prescribed therein by collecting from the person reasonably suspected of having committed the same a sum of money not exceeding one hundred dollars.”.
