Regulation 9
Subregulation 1
The National Flag must be flown at full mast.
Subregulation 2
However, during a period of national mourning declared by the Government, the National Flag may be lowered to half‑mast.
Subregulation 3
The declaration of a period of national mourning must be published in the Gazette or in some other way that will secure adequate publicity for the declaration.
Subregulation 4
A person who knowingly contravenes paragraph (1) commits an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000.
