Regulation 2

Any person who, during any period during which parking charges are payable, uses a parking place for the parking of any vehicle must pay the parking charges —

if the parking place is a coupon parking place, by —

the method described in the Parking Places (Coupon Parking) Rules (R 3);

the method described in rule 4 or 4A of the Parking Places (Digital Payment — Parking Charges) Rules 2022 (G.N. No. S 76/2022); or

a combination of the methods mentioned in sub‑paragraphs (i) and (ii);

if the parking place is a Parking@HDB parking place, by —

paying at the payment station at that parking place or through any other mode of payment provided at the parking place immediately prior to the removal of the person’s vehicle from that parking place; or

the method described in rule 5 of the Parking Places (Digital Payment — Parking Charges) Rules 2022; or

in any other case — by paying at the payment station at that parking place or through any other mode of payment provided at the parking place immediately prior to the removal of the person’s vehicle from that parking place.

In this rule —“coupon parking place” has the meaning given by rule 2 of the Parking Places (Coupon Parking) Rules;“Parking@HDB parking place” has the meaning given by rule 2(1) of the Parking Places (Digital Payment — Parking Charges) Rules 2022.”.
