Amendment of section 110

Section 110 of the Patents Act is amended by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:“(1) The Minister may, after consulting with the Office, make rules to provide for the extension of any period of time specified for the doing of any act in relation to —

(a)

any application for or grant of a patent;

(b)

any proceedings before the Registrar under this Act or the rules; or

(c)

any other matter under this Act or the rules.”.
