Amendment of section 36

Section 36 of the Patents Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the words “and shall take effect” in subsection (1), a comma;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the words “subject to subsection (2)” in subsection (1), the words “and section 36A”; and

(c)

by deleting the words “for the services of the Government” in subsection (3)(c) and substituting the words “in accordance with section 56”.
