Repeal and re-enactment of section 116

Section 116 of the Patents Act is repealed and the following section substituted therefor:“Fees116.—

(1)

There shall be paid in respect of applications, grants, registrations and other matters under this Act such fees as may be prescribed.

(2)

All fees collected shall be paid into the funds of the Office.

(3)

Subsection (2) shall not apply to fees paid under section 85 which are to be forwarded to the International Bureau.”.
