Regulation 89

Subject to paragraph (2), where a hearing before the Registrar of any dispute between 2 or more parties relating to any matter in connection with a patent or an application for a patent takes place after the publication of the application under section 27, the hearing of the dispute shall be in public.

After consulting the parties to the dispute mentioned in paragraph (1), the Registrar may direct that the hearing not be held in public.
