Amendment of section 7

Subsection (2) of section 7 of the Pensions Ordinance, 1956, is hereby amended —

(a)

by deleting the full-stop appearing at the end of paragraph (i) thereof and substituting therefor the expression “; or”; and

(b)

by inserting immediately after paragraph (i) thereof the following new paragraph: —“(j)with the consent of the President acting on the advice of the Cabinet, on or after completing fifteen years of service, in special circumstances not falling within any of the preceding paragraphs of this subsection.”.
