Amendment of section 25
of Postal Services (Amendment) Bill

Clause 19
Section 25 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the word “or” at the end of subsection (1)(b);
(b)
by deleting paragraph (c) of subsection (1) and substituting the following paragraphs:“(c)to ensure the technical compatibility and safety of operation of any postal equipment or postal system;
(d)
to ensure the co-ordination and co-operation, on such terms as the Postal Authority may specify, with any other person in the use or sharing of any installation, plant or system, or part thereof, owned or used by the postal licensee for the provision of any postal service; or
(e)
in the public interest.”; and
(c)
by deleting subsection (4).
