Clause 7
Section 20 of the principal Act is amended by deleting subsections (1) and (2) and substituting the following subsections:“(1) Before the poll opens at a polling station, the presiding officer or the senior presiding officer at that station must cause a notice about the poll to be displayed on or at a conspicuous place outside that station.
(2)
The notice mentioned in subsection (1) —
(a)
must contain such information, presented in such form or manner, as may be prescribed; and
(b)
must remain displayed on or at a conspicuous place outside the polling station until the poll closes at that station.”.
