Section 65(1)(c) and (2) of the Act shall not apply to prohibit a permanent resident or a person issued with a work pass from carrying out, solely pursuant to a contract for service between an authorised person and a candidate or the candidate’s election agent, any or all of the following work:
(a)
the public display of traditional election advertising;
(b)
the removal of traditional election advertising;
(c)
the setting up of any physical facility at the site of an election rally or an assembly centre;
(d)
the dismantling of any physical facility at the site of an election rally or an assembly centre.
