Regulation 37
Counting of votes by overseas electors
Subject to section 36D of the Act, the Returning Officer or a person authorised by him or her may, in counting the votes cast at all overseas polling stations or by the postal voting method —
(a)
mix together all ballot papers in the opened ballot boxes from —
(i)
all overseas polling stations; or
(ii)
each overseas polling station (without mixing ballot papers from any other overseas polling station); and
(b)
mix together any number of postal ballot papers with any number of ballot papers in the opened ballot boxes from each or all overseas polling stations.
