Clause 23

Section 65(2) of the Prisons Act is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph (k), the following paragraph:“(ka)the establishment of an advisory committee for the purpose of advising the Director on the suitability of a prisoner to be released for home detention under Part IVA and its constitution, functions and procedures;”.
