Regulation 13
Subregulation 1
A solicitor who —
(a)
has acted in any proceedings on behalf of an individual before the date of the issue of a Grant of Aid which relates to those proceedings; or
(b)
has, by law, a lien on any documents necessary for any proceedings to which the Grant of Aid relates and who has delivered them up subject to the solicitor’s lien,may give notice of the fact to the Chief Public Defender.
Subregulation 2
The Chief Public Defender may pay to the solicitor mentioned in paragraph (1) costs as may be agreed between the Chief Public Defender and the solicitor.
