Prescribed classes of offences
SECOND SCHEDULERegulations 4, 9(3)(a) and (4) and 11(3) and (4)Prescribed classes of offences1.The following are the prescribed classes of offences for the purposes of section 12(1)(c)(i) of the Act:
(a)
an offence that is not an excluded offence and is punishable only with a fine;
(b)
an offence that is not an excluded offence and is punishable with a fine or imprisonment, or both, for which the maximum term of imprisonment provided by written law does not exceed 7 years.
