Amendment of section 13
of Public Entertainments (Amendment) Bill

Clause 10
Section 13 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “any application for a” in subsection (1) and substituting the words “to issue or renew any”;
(b)
by inserting, immediately after the word “applicant” in subsection (2), the words “or the licensee, as the case may be”;
(c)
by inserting, immediately after the word “applicant” in the 1st line of subsection (3), the words “or licensee who is”;
(d)
by deleting the words “his application by” in the 1st and 2nd lines of subsection (3); and
(e)
by deleting the words “an application for” in the 5th line of subsection (3) and substituting the words “the appeal for the issue or renewal of”.
