Amendment of section 24

Section 24 of the principal Act is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (2), the following subsections:“(3) The Council may —

(a)

reject the application;

(b)

approve the application, subject to such conditions as the Council thinks fit; or

(c)

at any time, revise any bus or rapid transit system fare in accordance with the fare adjustment formula set out in the Third Schedule.(4) The Council may revoke any approval granted under subsection (3)(b) if the Council is satisfied that the applicant has failed to comply with any condition imposed thereunder.”.
