Rapid Transit Systems (Creation of Rights) (Consolidation) Notification

This Notification may be cited as the Rapid Transit Systems (Creation of Rights) (Consolidation) Notification.

The Authority or any person authorised by the Authority may, at any reasonable time and for the purposes of and incidental to the operation of the railway, enter upon the railway areas in the lands described in the First Schedule and exercise such rights in, under or over those areas of lands as are described in the Second Schedule.

Copies of plans of the railway areas in the lands described in the First Schedule shall be available for inspection by the public free of charge at the office of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore at 1 Hampshire Road, Singapore 219428 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays and between 9 a.m. and 12 noon on Saturdays (Sundays and public holidays excepted).

SECOND SCHEDULEParagraph 21. The uninterrupted right to pass and repass with trains —

2. The right of uninterrupted passage without vehicles for the purpose of access and regress to and from any railway premises constructed on, above or under any of the lands described in the First Schedule or any other land adjoining thereto.

3. The right at all times to have any structure constructed by the Authority on, above or under the lands described in the First Schedule for the operation of the Rapid Transit System supported, upheld and maintained by the soil and subsoil of such lands.
