Clause 51

Obstruction

(1)

A person commits an offence if the person, without reasonable excuse, obstructs or hinders the Registrar‑General or an authorised registration officer in the performance of any function or exercise of any power under this Act or any other written law.

(2)

A person who is guilty of an offence under subsection (1) shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $2,500 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or to both.
