Regulation 7
Non‑disclosure if prejudicial to national security, etc.
Subregulation 1
A Reviewing Tribunal must carry out its functions in such a way as to secure that information is not disclosed to an extent, or in a manner, that is prejudicial to —
Singapore’s national security;
the prevention or detection of serious crime;
the economic wellbeing of Singapore; or
the continued discharge of the functions of any of the intelligence services of Singapore.
Subregulation 2
A Reviewing Tribunal is not to order any person to disclose any information or document which the Reviewing Tribunal itself would be prohibited from disclosing by virtue of this rule, had the information or document been disclosed or provided to the Reviewing Tribunal by that person.
Subregulation 3
A Reviewing Tribunal’s proceedings, including any in‑person hearings, must be conducted in private.
