Amendment of section 14
Subsection (1) of section 14 of the principal Act is hereby amended —
(a)
by inserting immediately after the figure “8” appearing in paragraph (e) thereof the expression “or 8A”;
(b)
by deleting the comma appearing at the end of paragraph (h) thereof and substituting therefor a semi-colon; and
(c)
by inserting immediately after paragraph (h) thereof the following new paragraphs: —“(i)makes any statement or furnishes any information to the Commissioner or an employment officer pursuant to this Act which is false in any material particular or is misleading by reason of the omission of any material particular; or
(j)
fails to comply with or observe the conditions contained in the work permit issued to him,”.
