Amendment of section 144
Section 144 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “at a police station or at the office of the Registrar” in subsection (1) and substituting the words “at a place prescribed by the Authority”; and
(b)
by deleting subsection (3) and substituting the following subsection:“(3) The Authority may make rules —
(a)
to prescribe one or more places for the purposes of subsection (1); and
(b)
for the disposal of money or other property deposited under subsection (1).”.
