Clause 25
Section 81 of the principal Act is amended by deleting subsection (7) and substituting the following subsections:“(7) Any person who is guilty of an offence under subsection (1A) or (2) shall be liable on conviction —
(a)
to a fine not exceeding $1,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or to both; and
(b)
in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding $2,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
(7A)
Any person who is guilty of an offence under subsection (3) shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.”.
