Clause 8

Section 87 of the principal Act is amended by deleting subsection (1) and substituting the following subsection:“(1) The Deputy Commissioner of Police or the Registrar may by notice in writing require the owner of any licensed vehicle to produce either or both the vehicle or the licence relating thereto for an inspection at such time and place and by such person as may be specified in the notice.”.
