Definitions

In these Rules —“authorised examiner” means a person authorised by the Registrar under section 90(2) of the Act;“EN 15194” means the European Standard EN 15194:2009+A1:2011 titled “Cycles — Electrically power assisted cycles — EPAC Bicycles” approved by the European Committee for Standardization (called in this definition CEN) on 22 November 2008 but does not include clause 4.2.4.3 in EN 15194:2009+A1:2011, and as amended by Amendment 1 approved by CEN on 8 October 2011;“Revised EN 15194” means the European Standard EN 15194:2017 titled “Cycles — Electrically power assisted cycles — EPAC Bicycles” approved by the European Committee for Standardization on 28 May 2017 but does not include clause 4.2.12 in EN 15194:2017.[Deleted by S 450/2017 wef 14/08/2017]
