Regulation 3

The maximum speed limits for the classes or descriptions of motor vehicles in the first column of the Schedule are set out in the second column thereto.

Nothing in these Rules shall affect the liability of any person to comply with any prohibition or restriction imposed by a notification made under section 63(2) of the Act, or an order made under section 113 of the Act, on the driving of a motor vehicle in excess of a maximum speed that is less than that prescribed in these Rules.
