Regulation 35

The rider of a motor cycle shall keep the headlamp of his motor cycle lit whenever the motor cycle is in motion.

For the purpose of this rule, “headlamp” means a lamp on a motor cycle which is designed, when lit, to illuminate the road in front of the motor cycle.
