Powers of inspector
of Rubber Industry Regulations
Every inspector, pursuant to the powers conferred on him by section 10 of the Act, may during the working hours of any manufacturer of Specified Singapore Rubber —
enter the manufacturer’s factory or other premises with a view to ascertaining whether —
the form of natural rubber conforms to the SSR specifications; and
the Certification Mark is being used in accordance with the terms and conditions imposed by the Board and that the scheme of inspection and testing specified by the Board is being correctly followed;
inspect any operation carried out therein in connection with any form of natural rubber;
take samples of any form of natural rubber, material or substance used or intended to be used for the manufacture of forms of natural rubber to be marked with the Certification Mark and conduct tests therein; and
do such things, within the limits of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Act, as may be necessary for the purposes of paragraph (a).
