Clause 9

Amendment of section 87

Section 87 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “to carry on business in” in subsection (1) and substituting the words “in respect of”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the words “such information” in subsection (3)(a), the words “or documents”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after paragraph (a) of subsection (3), the following paragraph:“(aa)any information or document that is furnished by the applicant to the Authority is false or misleading;”.
