Clause 30

Subject to section 28(3) and the regulations made under this Act, the Authority shall grant or renew a dealer’s representative’s licence or investment representative’s licence if after consideration of the application it does not have any reason to believe that the applicant will not perform the duties of the holder of dealer’s representative’s or an investment representative’s licence, as the case may be, efficiently, honestly and fairly but otherwise the Authority shall refuse the licence.
