Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the Singapore Armed Forces (Amendment) Act 2005 and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.

Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the Singapore Armed Forces (Amendment) Act 2005 and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.
Amendment of section 68
Section 68 of the Singapore Armed Forces Act (referred to in this Act as the principal Act) is amended —
by deleting “$300” in paragraph (b)(i) and substituting “$1,000”; and
by deleting “$100” in paragraph (b)(ii) and substituting “$300”.
Amendment of section 69
Section 69(1) of the principal Act is amended —
by deleting “$500” in paragraph (d)(i) and substituting “$1,500”; and
by deleting “$150” in paragraph (d)(ii) and substituting “$500”.
Amendment of section 70
Section 70(1) of the principal Act is amended —
by deleting “$1,000” in paragraph (b)(i) and substituting “$3,000”; and
by deleting “$500” in paragraph (b)(ii) and substituting “$2,000”.
Amendment of section 70A
Section 70A(1) of the principal Act is amended by deleting “$1,500” in paragraph (b) and substituting “$6,000”.
Amendment of section 70B
Section 70B(1) of the principal Act is amended by deleting “$1,500” in paragraph (b) and substituting “$6,000”.
Amendment of section 71
Section 71(2) of the principal Act is amended —
by deleting “$100” in paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting in each case “$300”; and
by deleting “$300” in paragraph (b) and substituting “$1,000”.
Amendment of section 72
Section 72(5) of the principal Act is amended by deleting “$1,500” in paragraph (b)(ii) and substituting “$10,000”.
Amendment of section 118
Section 118(6) of the principal Act is amended —
by deleting “$2,000” in paragraph (a) and substituting “$10,000”; and
by deleting “$1,000” in paragraph (b) and substituting “$5,000”.
