Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the Singapore Asian Seamen’s Club Incorporation (Amendment) Act, 1965, and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.

Short title and commencement
This Act may be cited as the Singapore Asian Seamen’s Club Incorporation (Amendment) Act, 1965, and shall come into operation on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.
Amendment of section 7
Subsection (1) of section 7 of the Singapore Asian Seamen’s Club Incorporation Ordinance is hereby deleted and the following substituted therefor: —“(1) The Committee shall consist of —
a Chairman;
four persons representing shipowners;
four persons representing seafarers; and
three other members,all of whom shall be appointed by the Minister.”.
