Repeal and re-enactment of section 73

Section 73 of the principal Act is repealed and the following section substituted therefor:“Exemption

73. The Minister may, subject to such terms and conditions as he may impose, by order published in the Gazette, exempt —

(a)

any class or description of shares or interests in shares from section 45A or 45B or both; and

(b)

any person or class of persons from all or any of the provisions of this Act or any subsidiary legislation made thereunder.”.
