Clause 6
Constitution of the Council
(1)
The Council shall consist of one representative each from all the organisations set out in the Schedule to this Act.
(2)
The Minister may, from time to time by notification in the Gazette, amend the Schedule to this Act on the advice of the Council or the Board.
(3)
The Board may in its absolute discretion accept as members of the Council organisations in any of the following categories: —
(a)
welfare and welfare co-ordination organisations; and
(b)
religious and other bodies which are engaged in welfare and charitable activities.
