Forfeiture of Medal

Subregulation 1

The Permanent Secretary may forfeit any Medal awarded to any person under these Rules if the person —

(a)

is dismissed or dishonourably discharged from service in the Singapore Police Force;

(b)

is convicted of any criminal offence; (c)is guilty of misconduct or disloyalty to Singapore; or

(d)

is, in the Permanent Secretary’s opinion, not a fit and proper person to have been awarded the Medal.

Any Medal forfeited may be restored by the Permanent Secretary.

A notice of the forfeiture or restoration of any Medal must be published in the Gazette.
