Privileges of members of Union
Subregulation 1
An ordinary member may —
speak and vote at a general meeting of the Union and participate in the Union’s activities;
vote in and stand for election to the Council or Executive Committee or management committee of any constituent body of which he is a member; and
use the Union’s facilities in accordance with such rules, regulations and conditions as may be issued from time to time by the Principal.
Subregulation 2
An associate member may —
speak at a general meeting of the Union and participate in the Union’s activities; and
use the Union’s facilities in accordance with such rules, regulations and conditions as may be issued from time to time by the Principal.
Subregulation 3
An associate member may not vote in or stand for election to the Council or the Executive Committee or any management committee.
Subregulation 4
No person other than a member of the Union shall participate in any activity of the Union.
Subregulation 5
Voting in every election shall be by ballot and a member may not vote by proxy in an election.
