Clause 5

Section 24 of the principal Act is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (1), the following subsection:“(2) For the avoidance of doubt, every instrument filed in the land registry by a personal representative declaring himself to be absolute owner of any land shall be charged as a conveyance or transfer of property.”.
