Regulation 27

The Permanent Secretary may, in relation to any grant-in-aid of capital expenditure on or in connection with building works, specify the period within which the works must be completed and if, in the opinion of the manager of the aided school concerned, it is not possible to complete the works within the period so specified, the manager must, at least 2 months before the expiration of that period, inform the Permanent Secretary of that fact and may apply for an extension of the period.
