Regulation 13

Disqualification from membership

No person shall be appointed or shall continue to hold office as a member of a Council if he —

(a)

is neither a citizen of Singapore nor a permanent resident of Singapore;

(b)

is below 21 years of age;

(c)

is an undischarged bankrupt or has made any arrangement with his creditors;

(d)

has been sentenced to imprisonment for a term exceeding 6 months and has not received a free pardon; or

(e)

is incapacitated by physical or mental illness.
